Music Band Training
Music has always been a source of inspiration and a tool for building camaraderie. The department offers a dedicated Music Band Training Program that allows students to explore their musical talents and creativity. Under the guidance of experienced trainers,
students learn to play various instruments, ranging from percussion and wind instruments to string instruments.
Regular practice sessions and performances at departmental and
institutional events help them build confidence and teamwork skills. The program also instills discipline, harmony, and a sense of belonging, making it an essential aspect of their
holistic development.
Basic Hindi Course
Understanding the importance of linguistic proficiency in fostering unity and communication, the department offers a tailored Basic Hindi Course. This course is designed for students from diverse linguistic backgrounds, equipping them with the ability to read, write, and converse in Hindi, one of India’s most widely spoken languages.
The curriculum emphasizes practical applications, enabling students to use the language effectively in their professional interactions and daily life. By participating in this course,students also gain a deeper understanding of India’s cultural heritage and national integration.
Morning Physical Activity Program
Physical fitness is a cornerstone of defence training and personal well-being. The department organizes a structured Morning Physical Activity Program to instill discipline and promote a healthy lifestyle. Every morning, students participate in a variety of activities, including warm-up exercises, yoga, aerobics, jogging, and endurance drills.
These sessions are conducted by trained instructors who ensure that students maintain their fitness levels and develop resilience, mental alertness, and stamina. Such activities not only enhance physical health but also prepare students for the demanding challenges of defense and strategic careers.
Dedicated Physical Exercise Ground
The department takes pride in its well-maintained and exclusive Physical Exercise Ground. This facility provides a safe and dedicated space for students to engage in physical training and sports activities. Equipped with essential gear for strength training, obstacle courses, and other fitness modules, the ground is ideal for hosting drills, team sports, and individual exercise routines.
